climate change

This project was created for a social awareness campaign over the topic of climate change in China. The growing middle class in China has led to a boom in consumerism and waste. My concept was based on alarming statistics of consumption, and pairing that visual with a family/loved one to have the Chinese people consider who their purchases are affecting. Are the cool shoes, new tech, or expensive beauty products really worth the destruction of the Earth and the future of their family? The illustration style and minimal color palette was chosen based on popular illustration styles found in China done by the young generation I am targeting.
