Motorcycle

Indian Motorcycle is America’s first motorcycle brand, and with that title comes a rich turbulent history.

The resulting brochure is a record zine that highlights all of the amazing records and feats done on Indian motorcycles. The zine would be sent out to encourage customers to join the Indian Riders Club to stay in the loop on all things Indian Motorcycle and to receive updates on new records and awards won by the company every year. By using desaturated photography mixed with black and white and sepia tones, plus a cream tone paper, I was able to create the effect of the zine feeling more historic while incorporating modern typography and layouts. The format of the zine is a double sided long accordion fold with the first half of the history on one side, and the second half on the other. This format aids in the storytelling aspect of the zine and creates a unique book.
